The inspiration behind iLoveKare blossomed while Kimberly assisted her great-grandmother, Ella Colenburg, and their circle of friends. These kind souls recognized Kimberly’s compassionate senior care and affectionately bestowed upon her the nickname “little missionary.” Driven by her desire to provide personalized lifestyle care for her grandmother and friends, Kimberly embarked on a journey that would eventually lead to the creation of iLoveKare, a service dedicated to offering home care services to those in need.
Fast forward to 1998, Kimberly embarked on her journey as a live-in director at a personal care home. Her role ignited a passion for providing compassionate senior care within the aging community. As she served the elderly, she discovered a calling to advocate on their behalf. However, she soon realized that to truly make a difference, she needed to establish her own platform for home care services.
Kimberly’s desire to offer personalized lifestyle care for the elderly led her to serve not only her own family and acquaintances but also countless others over the course of more than 20 years. She recognized a unique niche in assisting aging adults to age in place—a mission she continues to champion today.
